Kobito, born in 1986 in Berlin, Germany, is a German rapper. Kobito's stage name is an acronym standing for a combination of Bild and Ton. He began his career in 2005 and is the founding member of the band Schlagzeiln. Alongside Sookee, he formed the hip-hop duo Deine Elstern, which gained significant attention with their song "Augen Zu" from the EP Deine Elstern, produced by MisterMo (Schlagzeiln). The track was released as a maxi vinyl through a label cooperation with Audiolith. In September 2011, Kobito released his album Zu Eklektisch via Twisted Chords. He is also a founding member of the collective Tick Tick Boom and has been signed to the Hamburg-based indie label Audiolith since 2013. Notable collaborations include "The Walking Deutsch" with Spezial-K and "Warten auf die Sonne" with Amewu, both released via Audiolith.
