Áine Minogue, born on May 27, 1977, in Borrisokane, County Tipperary, Ireland, is an Irish harpist and singer. She began playing the Irish harp at age 12 and later became a harpist at Bunratty Castle in County Clare. Minogue released her self-titled debut album in 1990, followed by Were You at the Rock, in 1993, which featured traditional dance and concert pieces. Her subsequent albums include To Warm The Winter's Night (1996), which offered a collection of Celtic and English midwinter and Christmas music, and Circle of the Sun (1998). In 2005, her album Celtic Lamentations, exploring ancient mourning music, won Zone Music Reporter's Best Celtic Album award.
