Sounds Like Violence is a Swedish indie rock and emo quartet formed in 2001 in Ängelholm. The group consisted of lead vocalist and guitarist Andreas Söderlund, bassist Daniel Teodorsson, drummer Daniel Petersson, and guitarist Philip Hall, most of whom also performed in the band Niccokick. The ensemble released its debut EP, The Pistol, in April 2004 through Deep Elm Records. That same year, the band released a split recording with Settlefish and Desert City Soundtrack. In February 2007, the group released its first full-length album, With Blood on My Hands, through Deep Elm and Burning Heart Records. The band followed this with its second studio album, The Devil on Nobel Street, in 2009. The release featured the single “The Emperor’s New Clothes”. The group contributed tracks to various compilations, including Emo Diaries No. 10: The Hope I Hide Inside.
