Urna is a Mongolian singer and yangqin player. She studied at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music in China before embarking on an international career. Based in Germany, Urna released the albums Tal Nutag (1995), Hödööd (1999), Jamar (2001), and Amilal (2005). In 2009, she also took part in the German-Mongolian film Les Deux chevaux de Gengis Khan , released in 2011. In 2012, the compilation Portrait brought Urna's art to a less confidential audience.
