Desangre was a Mexican death metal band formed in 2006 by guitarist Alberto Rosas, known as Athal. The group initially started as an experimental metal duo with José Manuel Aldabe on drums. In 2007, Osvaldo Rodríguez joined on bass, and Carlos Díaz Ayala (Alka) took over vocals and visuals in 2008. Desangre's debut album, Solo Carnicería, was released in April 2008, featuring tracks like "Machacahuevos" and "Destripador", and was accompanied by their first music video for "Destripador". The group went inactive from early 2011 to August 2012. Upon returning in September 2012, they released the EP ¿Eres Humano o Eres Basura?, which included the single "Pelacaras" and its music video. Their second full-length album, Resurrección, was completed in September 2013, featuring the title track's music video. Desangre appeared in various media outlets and performed with notable bands such as Hate (Poland) and Rapture (Mexico).
