Josep Puntí i Fàbregas, known professionally as Adrià Puntí, born June 13, 1963, in Salt, Spain, is a Spanish folk rock and experimental rock musician and singer-songwriter. He began his music career in 1980 with the group La Fellaction on the Rocks and gained recognition by winning a song contest in Banyoles in 1983. In 1989, he founded the group Umpah-pah, releasing the notable albums Raons de pes (1991) and Bamboo Avenue (1992). Their subsequent releases, including Triquiñuelas al óleo (1994), Bordell (1994), and La columna de Simeón (1996), did not achieve commercial success, leading to their disbandment. He then signed with Picap and released his first solo album, Pepalallarga i... (1997). His subsequent albums, including L'hora del pati (1999) and Maria (2002), received critical acclaim. In 2016, he won the Cerverí Award for a song's lyrics. His later albums include La clau de girar el taller (2015) and Enriu-te'n fins que el cor et digui prou (2019).
