Sankt Otten is a German electronic music group from Osnabrück, founded in 1999 by Stephan Otten. Their initial releases included Stille Tage im Klischee (1999) and Eine kleine Traurigkeit (2000), both released under the Eleganz label. In 2006, they released Remixe [Zuhause fühle ich mich wie ein Tourist] on Retinascan and Wir können ja Freunde bleiben on Hidden Shoal Recordings. Their discography expanded with notable albums such as Gottes Synthesizer (2011) and Engtanz Depression (2015), all released under Denovali Records, their label since 2009. Throughout their career, Sankt Otten collaborated with various musicians including Jaki Liebezeit, Harald Grosskopf, and Ulrich Schnauss. Their music blended melodic and atmospheric electronic instrumental sounds with influences from the Berlin School of electronic music, Krautrock, Ambient, and Trip-Hop. Other albums include Wunden gibt es immer wieder (2007), Männerfreundschaften und Metaphysik (2016), Zwischen Demut und Disco (2018), and Tote Winkel (2025).
