Sebastian R. Komor, born May 7, 1976, in Zabrze, Poland, is an electronic musician who moved to Norway in 1981. He released his first demo in 1992 and formed several bands including Melt, Area51, Sector9, and Moonitor. In 1997, Komor collaborated with Andy LaPlegua to form Icon of Coil, releasing three albums: Serenity Is the Devil (2000), The Soul Is in the Software (2002), and Machines Are Us (2004). Komor and Richard Bjørklund also formed Monofader and released the album Frost (2004). In 2005, he initiated Zombie Girl with Renee Cooper. Komor also released solo projects under Squarehead and Moonitor through FiXT Records. His prolific output includes numerous albums such as The Voyage series (2011–2018), Vikings, Thrones & Dragonbones (2014), and Invisible Cities Vol. 1 (2015).
