Forced To Mode, a German Depeche Mode cover band from Berlin, was formed in 2011. The group consists of Christian Schottstädt (vocals, keyboards), Thomas Schernikau (keyboards, vocals), and Matthias Kahra (guitar). Forced To Mode performed three Depeche Mode covers at the Cover-Festival "Depeche Mode Goes Rock" in 2008. Over the years, they have played over 450 concerts across Europe. Their repertoire includes over 130 Depeche Mode covers, and they have released several tribute albums in collaboration with Sonic Seducer, including 35 Years of 'Construction Time Again' (2018), 35 Years of ‘Some Great Reward’: A Tribute to Depeche Mode (2019), and 30 Years of Violator: A Tribute to Depeche Mode (2021).
