Tejong (테종), born Kim Min-su on May 2, 1995, in Seongnam, South Korea, is an independent singer-songwriter known for his soulful vocals and versatile musical style. Blending elements of folk, acoustic, pop, rock, R&B, and ballad, he has steadily built a reputation in the South Korean indie music scene. Tejong made his solo debut on August 3, 2021, with the digital single "Pervert", showcasing his raw, emotional storytelling. In 2022, he released his first EP, April Winter, further establishing his identity as a singer-songwriter. His music is characterized by introspective lyrics and heartfelt melodies, earning him a growing fanbase. In 2023, Tejong gained wider recognition by competing on JTBC’s survival show Sing Again 3 as Singer No. 47, where he finished in the top 16. His performances on the show demonstrated his depth as an artist, drawing praise for his expressive voice and musical sincerity. In 2024, he returned for a special group performance during the show’s finale.
