Geoffrey David O'Connor is an indie pop musician and producer from Melbourne. He started his career under the alias Sly Hats, releasing Liquorice Night in 2007. His first solo album as Geoffrey O'Connor was Vanity is Forever, released in October 2011 through Chapter Music and featured synthesizers and modern soft rock sounds, marking a shift from his earlier indie-pop work with The Crayon Fields. Following its release, O'Connor toured extensively, including performances at the Laneway Festival in Australia and supporting Grimes and Edwyn Collins on their Australian tours. In August 2014, he released Fan Fiction, which received a score of 7.4 from Pitchfork. In August 2021, he released For As Long As I Can Remember, a suite of duets with fellow Australian singers and was followed by an EP featuring remixes of songs from the same album in April 2023.
