Jermaine Maxwell Quarm, known professionally as $hamaar is a Ghanaian rapper, singer and songwriter who started rapping at age 9 before professionally taking up the career as a musician shortly after high school.

The rapper gained recognition following the release of his debut single “Turn Up” and he followed up with more hard rap tunes to cement his place as a rising star in the African rap scene.
