Antillectual is a Dutch punk rock band from Nijmegen, founded in 2000. The original lineup included guitarist Willem, bassist Pieter, and drummer Bob. After several membership changes, the ensemble released its debut studio album, Silencing Civilization, in 2005 through Angry Youth Records. The band achieved wider international distribution with the 2008 album Testimony, which was issued by seven independent labels across Europe, North America, and Asia. Antillectual has toured extensively throughout the Americas, Europe, Russia, and Japan, sharing stages with acts such as Rise Against and NOFX. In 2016, the group released the album Engage! through multiple international labels. After stating in 2018 they would focus on digital singles like “Heads You Win, Tails We Lose”, the band returned to the full-length format in 2023 with the album Together. Buma Cultuur ranked the ensemble at number 5 on the Dutch music export list in 2023.
