Sven Grünberg, born on November 24, 1956, in Tallinn, Estonia, is an Estonian composer and DJ. He graduated from the state music school of Tallinn in 1976 and began his musical career as a teenager playing in various bands. In January 1974, Grünberg co-founded the progressive rock band Mess with Härmo Härm, notable for its use of electronic keyboards and synthesizers. The band disbanded in 1976. Grünberg's solo career began with his debut album Дыхание, followed by OM (1988). His work is heavily influenced by Tibetan music, resulting in meditative compositions. Notable albums include Milarepa (1993) and Prana Symphony (1995). Grünberg has also composed numerous film scores, including "Hukkunud Alpinisti Hotell" (1979). He is currently the chairman of the Estonian Buddhism Institute.
