Ibrahim Imran, known professionally as Baim, is an Indonesian singer and actor born on May 31, 1975, in Kowloon, Hong Kong. In 1994, he received the Best Guitarist award at the Yamaha Music Contest. He began his career as the lead vocalist of the rock group Ada Band, with which he released the albums Seharusnya (1997), Peradaban 2000 (1999), and Tiara (2001). Imran separated from the ensemble in 2001 to pursue a solo career in pop music. He released his debut solo album, Fresh !!, in 2002, which featured the single “Teach Me Love”. He re-released the recording as Refresh in 2003. In 2004, he received an AMI Award for the album Nafasku. His subsequent discography included Terbaik Untukmu (2006), Perfeksionis (2009), and Chaotic Gemini (2011). Imran also performed in films such as Bad Wolves (2005), Legenda Sundel Bolong (2007), and The Sexy City (2010).
