Mikael Falk Petersen, known professionally as Mek Pek, is a Danish singer and actor born on January 4, 1964, in Aarhus. He began his music career in 1979 as the bassist for the punk band Lost Kids. Following the dissolution of the group, Petersen formed the Mek Pek Party Band in 1982. He was voted the sexiest man in Aarhus in 1987. Between 1990 and 2000, he collaborated with musicians Kim Larsen and Peter A.G. Nielsen. In 1995, he formed the group The Allrights and performed under the name Mek Pek & The Allrights. Petersen released the album Pek'en Passer, a tribute to Dirch Passer, in 1999. His acting career included roles in movies such as Casanova and the 2003 film Hvor kommer mælk fra?. He released children's albums including Ann & Aberne (2004) and Anton & Sassabassa (2005). In 2011, he performed a 30-year anniversary tour with the Mek Pek Party Band.
