Moore Moss Rutter, a British folk music trio consisting of Tom Moore on violin, Archie Churchill-Moss on melodeon, and Jack Rutter on guitar/vocals, formed in the UK in 2009. The group initially gained recognition by winning the 2011 BBC Radio 2 Young Folk Award during the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards. Their debut album Moore Moss Rutter was released in 2011. Tracks from this album received radio airplay on BBC Radio 2. The trio's music is known for blending traditional folk tunes with elements of 20th-century classical music, jazz, and bluegrass. They appeared in the 2012 BBC Four documentary "Fairport Convention: Who Knows Where the Time Goes?," narrated by Frank Skinner. In 2015, they released their second album II. The group also had the opportunity to film a live set for Sky Arts, recorded backstage at the Cambridge Folk Festival.
