Nella Martinetti was a Swiss singer and songwriter born on 21 January 1946 in Brissago. She achieved professional recognition in 1986 after winning the Grand Prix der Volksmusik with the track “Bella Musica” (1986), which she composed. In 1988, she co-wrote the Eurovision Song Contest winning entry “Ne partez pas sans moi” (1988) for Céline Dion. Martinetti also performed as an actress and was affectionately known as “Bella Nella”. Her discography includes the track “J'aime la vie” (1986), which she co-wrote as the winning entry for the 1986 Eurovision Song Contest. Martinetti died on 29 July 2011 in Männedorf.
