Introduced in her early days as the French counterpart to Rihanna, Tenny is a French R&B and urban pop artist who emerged at the end of 2014. Born in Bangui, Central African Republic, she spent time in Hong Kong before moving to Senegal at the age of eleven with her family of Afro-Lebanese origin. It wasn't until she arrived in France as an adult that Tenny Raphaëlla took up music seriously. Signed by major label Warner Music France, she successively released the singles "Action ou vérité" (ranked among the best-selling tracks in January 2015), "Like a Maniac" and "Le Temps",(taken from the EP of four previously unreleased tracks, M.Â.L.E, released in May). September of the same year sees the release of debut album Yin & Yang, produced with the help of composer Tiery-F and US-based French producer James BKS.
