Louis Ferrari was an Italian musette accordionist and composer born in 1910. He relocated to France in the 1930s and established the Ferrari & Son Ensemble, which performed in Parisian clubs. Ferrari was the cousin of jazz accordionist Tony Muréna. He composed the track “Domino” in 1951, featuring French lyrics by Jacques Plante and English lyrics by Don Raye. The song was recorded by performers including Bing Crosby, Doris Day, Tony Martin, and Andy Williams. His discography included the studio recordings Musette Music, Tonnerre d'amour, and Soir de Paris. Ferrari died in 1988. Posthumous collections of his work included Musette For Ever Part I (1992) and Les Archives de l'accordéon (2011).
