Crni Biseri, a Serbian rock band formed in Belgrade in 1963, were pioneers of the Yugoslav rock scene. The original lineup included Goran Vukićević, Predrag "Krcko" Jovanović, Ivan and Slavko Božović, with Vladimir Janković joining as bassist and vocalist later that year. The band's lineup changed frequently, with other notable members including Radan Valčić and Nenad "Duka" Dukić. Their first performance was in March 1964 at the Vuk Karadžić Cultural Center. Crni Biseri initially performed beat music but transitioned to rhythm and blues by 1965. They gained national popularity through performances and releases, including their debut EP Ne Odlazi in 1967, which featured "Ne odlazi", one of the first original songs recorded by a Yugoslav band. Subsequent singles include "Moja Mala Ledi" (1968), "Tražimo Sunce/Ram Dam Dam" (1969), and "Lutalica" (1973). The band released their debut album, Motorok, in 1976.
