Tyoz was born in Dallas, Texas 23 years ago, but lived in London for his first 10 years, where he grew up listening to “The Black Eyes Peas”, “Anastacia”, “Kelly Clarkson” and “Pink”. Later on, his older brother introduced him to a more rocky side, by showing artists like “Green Day” and “Linkin Park”.
All these artists influenced Tyoz into songwriting, and at the age of 9 he started writing and performing songs for his family.
His family moved to Lisbon when he was 11, where he’s been living since, and he divided his studies between the Portuguese and German school, allowing him to explore other cultures.
At 14, he decided to take his first step into the music world by expressing himself publicly, on YouTube, where he met a few of his artist friends, including April Ivy, who later on started a successful career due to her hit song “Be Ok”. Tyoz’s research lead him to the team behind “Be Ok”, and at the age of 18, he was a part of Redmojo, a production team, where he became a songwriter for many artists, with the goal of being able to do the same for himself.
Today at 23, Tyoz has written songs for artists such as Blaya, Madonna, Anitta, Fernando Daniel, David Carreira and Lola Indigo - hits that reflect his undeniable talent and artistic value, which he now sets on his own project.
