DNA Picasso is a recording artist, songwriter, and co-founder of the Colorado Music Industry Alliance. Inspired by the well-rounded yet unpredictable artistry of his namesake Pablo Picasso, his R&B-influenced hip-hop has made him a power player in the Colorado music scene. His discography includes critically acclaimed projects like The Color Blü, named Best New Album by Westword Magazine, and the 2024 EP Extended Playlist Vol. 1. DNA’s most recent release is Lawless: A Love Story, a collaborative album of love songs created alongside his partner Dominique Christina, which landed the duo the covers of Westword and Bandwagon Magazine. Both DNA’s music and his advocacy for Colorado’s music industry have also been highlighted by outlets like Colorado Public Radio, Denverse Magazine, 303 Magazine and The Drop 303. He has performed at festivals like Underground Music Showcase and FoCo MX, as well as Denver Fashion Week and Denver’s Museum of Contemporary Art. In 2025, he was selected by the Recording Academy to be part of the Grammy-U mentorship program as a mentee, and was given the MSU Denver Next Wave Leadership Award by the Colorado Business Committee for the Arts. DNA continues to make art that fosters change, and changes that foster art.
