Ulf Peder Olrog, born on February 27, 1919, in Stockholm, Sweden, was a singer and folklorist. He studied at the University of Uppsala and later lectured in folkloristics there from 1952 to 1959. Olrog's music career began with his work as a composer and lyricist, contributing numerous songs in Swedish. His compositions were featured in several feature films during the 1950s and 60s. In 1964, he joined Sveriges Radio, eventually becoming the program director of the entertainment department in 1971. He passed away on February 13, 1972.
