Hugo Santos started playing guitar and composing music at the age of 18 in Porto, Portugal. After realizing that he would only join a music act when he felt with enough capacity to contribute when the opportunity came, Hugo met Ivo Rebolho. After several years playing as a rhythm guitarist in different projects, he appreciated the musical connection with Hugo Santos, creating the band MUMA. Since then, they have released the instrumental rock EP Mudas Memórias. With the later addition of Sofia Maia in the voice, MUMA began to have an extensive musical continuation. And the consequence of this was the release of the EP, Memórias, with lyrics in Portuguese.
