Milo Pavlović, born Milorad Pavlović on December 2, 1930, in Belgrade, Serbia, was a trumpeter and orchestra leader known for his work in jazz and popular music. He began playing the trumpet at age 18 and joined the radio orchestra of Radio Belgrade in the early 1950s. In 1956, Pavlović moved to Germany and led the trumpet section in Kurt Edelhagen's orchestra from 1957 to 1967. He released several popular music recordings under his own name during this period. In 1968, he joined the SFB Big Band, which he led in 1981. In 1982, Pavlović founded the Berlin Big Band, with whom he recorded albums. As a soloist, he collaborated with notable artists such as Kenny Clarke/Francy Boland Big Band and Oliver Nelson. Pavlović died in 2013.
