Regina del Sagrado Corazón Orozco Mora, known as Regina Orozco, was born on February 18, 1964, in Ciudad de México. She is a Mexican soprano and actress who began her musical journey studying opera with private tutors and at specialized schools such as the Conservatorio Nacional de Música and the Juilliard School in New York. Orozco's music career took off with the release of Rosa Mexicano in 2007, featuring notable songs like "Perfidia" and "Canción mixteca". She continued to produce albums such as Canciones pa' lavar trastes (2015) and Canciones p' agarrar el alma (2016). Throughout her career, Orozco has been recognized for her versatility in genres ranging from opera to cabaret.
