Hi, I write songs sometimes.

Singer-songwriter Carla Strauss is a passionate young artist based in Pretoria, South Africa. At the age of 16 she released her first self-written track “Midnight Train”, an acoustic pop-ballad that bleeds honesty and vulnerability. This would set the precedent for her next few releases as a solo artist.

In her latest release “Feel Better” Carla introduces a new, more experimental side of herself but stays true to her honest and unguarded lyric writing style which she views as “the core” of her art.

In the future, we can expect to see more of her experimental side blooming in unexpected routes.
