Pirate, real name Lorenzo Lavenu, is a rapper from the Caucriauville district of Le Havre. He began writing his first lyrics at the age of 15, and in September 2018 unveiled his first video entitled "Plata O Plomo". In October of the same year, his track "Purge" attracted attention on the YouTube channel Daymolition. Pirate follows this up with tracks such as "Bandits", "La Onda", "Broly" and "Grumpy #1". In April 2020, he releases his first seven-track EP entitled KDO. He also makes a name for himself by covering popular tracks on Instagram, such as "WOAH" by Fianso, Soolking, Mac Tyer, Heuss l'Enfoiré, "PGP" and "GLAIVE" by Booba, and "Du Lundi au lundi" by Niska. In November 2020, his reputation grew thanks to his participation in Médine's "Grand Paris 2", alongside Koba LaD, Larry, Oxmo Puccino and Rémy. In 2021, he was selected for Les Inouïs du Printemps de Bourges, a scheme for spotting new talent. The following year, he took part in the first edition of the "Nouvelle École" show on Netflix, boosting his visibility. In 2023, Pirate continues his EP series with the release of KDO 2 and KDO 3, the latter featuring five tracks, including an introduction in three distinct parts and a collaboration with Mougli on the track "Bagheera". In 2024, he returns with the single "DOBERMANN".
