Bukas Palad Music Ministry, a Roman Catholic contemporary worship group from the Philippines, was formed in 1986 by Norman Agatep, Jandi Arboleda, and Rev. Fr. Manoling Francisco SJ. The trio began writing liturgical songs as high school students, which gained popularity through use in Catholic Masses nationwide. After Francisco joined the Society of Jesus, Agatep and Arboleda formed a group to sing at a wedding, leading to their first album Bukas Palad. The group has since recorded over a dozen albums with the Jesuit Music Ministry, including Pasko Na! (1999) and All Shall Be Well (2002). Notable songs include "Tanging Yaman" and "Sa 'Yo Lamang," which have been covered by popular Filipino artists. Bukas Palad has performed in numerous concerts across the Philippines and internationally, conducted liturgical music workshops, and engaged in outreach activities for marginalized communities.
