Dominican Pianist and Producer 🎹💽
Jordanny González is a Dominican jazz pianist, producer, arranger and composer. He currently lives in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
From an early age he showed interest in music and began his studies at the National Conservatory of the Dominican Republic as a classical pianist, where he studied for 5 years. But in 2018 Jordanny is introduced to the world of jazz, listening for the first time to one of his mentor pianists and world famous “Bill Evans”, he says that when listening to Bill's harmonies he was totally in love with his way of playing and his musical creativity, as it was a mix of classical and jazz influences.
Later, Jordanny began to meet other jazz players such as Keith Jarrett, John Coltrane, Oscar Peterson, Michel Camilo, among others, until he reached his most current influences such as Anomalie, Jesús Molina, Jacob Collier, Kiefer, etc. Thus knowing new genres such as: jazztronics, lofi, soul, boombap which opened his musical possibilities as a producer and pianist.
