Q the trumpet is a South Korean trumpeter, producer, and beatmaker. His musical career began with his first EP Duvet in 2018. In December 2020, he released his debut full-length album YELLOW FLOWER, featuring collaborations with artists such as Paloalto and Lee Won-seok from Daybreak. His second full-length album, Mood Washing, showcased his jazz-inspired trumpet playing along with harmoniously blending melodies from various instruments. Since then, he has solidified his unique musical style across EPs like Research Daily 2, WHITE, and WHEN I LOVE♥, which explore genres ranging from jazz to hip-hop and R&B. His EP WHEN I LOVE♥, released on June 21, 2025, has as its title song "STILL AT THE PARTY (Feat. Shin Ye Chan)" which quickly climbed to number 25 on Melon’s Top 500 chart the day after its release.
