The six-member South Korean idol group LIGHTSUM were formed by Cube Entertainment in 2021 and marked their arrival with their debut single "Vanilla" that same year, which went to number 12 on South Korea's Circle Chart. Their first mini-album Into The Light followed in 2022 and climbed to number 13 on the same chart. The group's second mini-album Honey or Spice was released in October 2023.
