The 4onthefloor, an American rock-and-roll band from Minneapolis, Minnesota, formed in 2009 by Gabriel Douglas. The group is known for each member playing a bass drum and writing all songs in 4/4 time. Their debut album 4x4 was released on February 8, 2011, and they were named Vita.mn's best new band of 2011. They followed this with Spirit of Minneapolis (April 9, 2013) and All In (May 26, 2015). The group has had their music featured on television shows like ABC’s Nashville and A&E’s Duck Dynasty. Their live performances are known for intense crowd engagement.
