Andreas Schnermann, born in 1968 in Wipperfürth, Germany, is a jazz musician known for his work as a pianist, composer, and arranger. He studied jazz piano and composition at the Bern University of the Arts (Swiss Jazz School) in Bern, Switzerland, followed by further studies in New York and Canada. His debut album 4 in One was released in 2001. In 2006, Schnermann released Tell Me the Truth About Love, featuring vocals by Inga Lühning on poems by W.H. Auden. He was also credited as producer for the 2011 album All What Love by Schnermann's Poetryclan. Schnermann has also worked extensively in theater, serving as a musical director and composer for various productions, including the musical Himmel & Kölle, which won multiple awards at the "German Musical Theatre Prize" and the Cologne Culture Prize “Cultural Event of the Year" in 2021. His composition "Für Immer" won the A Song for Wipperfürth contest in 2016, becoming the official city anthem for Wipperfürth's 800th anniversary.
