Ulli Schwinge, born on March 8, 1955, in Halle, Germany, is a German composer, pianist, and singer. He began his musical education at the Konservatorium in Halle in 1959 and later attended the Leipzig Music Conservatory. In the 1970s, Schwinge started composing his own songs, which were produced by DDR state radio. His solo career launched in 1984, and his hits "Alles, was ich liebe" and "Ein Augenblick" took first place in the Radio DDR charts in 1988 and 1989 respectively. His debut album, Alles, was ich liebe, was released in 1989 under Amiga. After 1990, he released albums such as Keine Zeit zum Träumen (1992) and Storys wie im richtigen Leben (2008). His music gained major success in South Africa in the 1990s, where several of his compositions were covered by African artists. He released the single "Die Kraft der Gefühle" in 2016 and the album Ein paar Akkorde in 2019.
