Jean-Louis Haguenauer, born in Paris, France, in 1954, is a French pianist. He studied musical analysis, composition, and writing with Nadia Boulanger and Henri Dutilleux. Haguenauer's career also included performances in chamber music ensembles, collaborating with notable artists such as Jeff Cohen, Alexis Galpérine, Annick Roussin, Jaime Laredo, Pierre-Henri Xuereb, Atar Arad, Arnaud Thorette, Cecilia Tsan, Sharon Robinson, Tsuyoshi Tsutsumi, Patrick Gallois, Thomas Robertello, Andras Adorjan, Michel Lethiec, James Campbell, the Quatuor Ebène, the Fine Arts Quartet, Ensemble Stanislas, Percussions de Strasbourg, and Ensemble Accroche-Notes. From 1988 to 1998, Haguenauer taught piano at the Strasbourg Regional Conservatory. He also formed a duo with tenor Gilles Ragon, focusing on French melody and Lied.
