The wickedly catchy, 'Karma’, is a mid-tempo spooky and soulful pop single that is perfect for Halloween and marks artist Alexis Strum's first original solo material in 18 years. The track was inspired by the saying, 'Alexa, Play Taylor Swift Karma!' a total mic drop of a comment Alexis spotted on dating forums and on TikTok and its the perfect revenge anthem, particularly for Taylor Swift fans. Musically it sounds like a female Teddy Swims meets Hozier. The song was co-written by Alexis (a former songwriter for Kylie) who came back to music a year ago when she went viral over a tweet thread about her former pop career and managed to get her old Universal Records album released to great acclaim- 650k streams on Spotify alone and counting.
