Tallulah Brockman Bankhead, born on January 31, 1902 in Huntsville, Alabama, was an American actress. She began her career as a performer at a young age, showcasing her talents in mimicry and recitation. Her first notable performance was witnessed by the Wright brothers, Orville and Wilbur, during a party where she won a prize for imitating her kindergarten teacher. Throughout her life, she amassed nearly 300 film, stage, television and radio roles, showcasing her versatility as a performer. She was inducted into the American Theater Hall of Fame in 1972 and the Alabama Women's Hall of Fame in 1981. Bankhead passed away on December 12, 1968.
