Space Streakings, a Japanese punk hardcore experimental band formed in 1986, gained early traction with their debut album Hatsu-Koi, released on NUX Organization in 1993. The group's owner, Kazuyuki K. Null, facilitated their collaboration with American label Skin Graft Records, leading to the release of several albums and singles. Their second album, 7-Toku, was recorded by Steve Albini and released in 1994. Following a brief U.S. tour where they collaborated with Mount Shasta from Chicago, Space Streakings disbanded. Notable releases include "Sexual Aesthetic Salon After School" (single, 1993) and Taco Beya (1996).
