Jane Caroline Rebecca Smith, known professionally as Jane Parker-Smith, and born on May 20, 1950, in Northampton, United Kingdom, was a classical organist. She moved to Hampshire at a young age and studied at Barton Peveril Grammar School before enrolling at the Royal College of Music, where she initially focused on piano, cello, and harpsichord but later switched to the organ. Parker-Smith's debut recital happened at age 20. She performed at the BBC Proms in 1972 and released Favourite Organ Masterpieces in 1973. Throughout her career, she recorded several notable albums, including Popular French Romantics (1985), Popular French Romantics Volume 2 (1995), and Romantic and Virtuoso Works for Organ Volume 1 (2003). She died on June 24, 2020.
