Juned was an American all female band formed in Seattle, Washington, in 1993. The group consisted of Dale Balenseifen and Claudia Groom on guitars and vocals, Leslie Hardy on bass, and Lenny Rennalls on drums. Nalini Cheriel (also known as Adickdid) was also a member at one point. Juned signed with Up Records and released their debut single "So White" in 1994, followed by their self-titled album Juned. The band gained further attention with the release of the single "Possum" in 1995 and their second album Every Night for You in 1996. That same year, Juned toured with Dinosaur Jr., which led to their discovery by filmmaker Allison Anders. Anders cast them in her quasi-biopic Grace of My Heart, where they played a 1960s girl group and contributed the song "Groovin' on You" to the soundtrack. Despite this exposure, Juned disbanded in 1996.
