Frank Rosaly, born Francisco Javier Rosaly Amoros on May 30, 1974 in Phoenix, Arizona, is an American drummer, composer, and sound designer. He graduated from Northern Arizona University with a Bachelor's degree in percussion performance. Rosaly began his career performing in the Flagstaff and Phoenix music scenes before moving to Chicago in 2001. In Chicago, he established himself as a prominent figure in the local jazz scene and was awarded Best Jazz Musician by the Chicago Reader in 2013. Throughout his career, Rosaly has released numerous albums, including Centering and Displacement (2012) and Beatings (2023). His solo project, Milkwork: A Study in Integration of Electronically Manipulated Percussion Instruments, showcased his innovative approach to drumming. Rosaly also operated Molk Records, an independent record label. In 2016, he relocated to Amsterdam while continuing to collaborate with artists across Europe and the United States.
