Ivoux was an American electronic music project founded in San Francisco by Maria Azevedo, Shawn Brice, and Evan Sornstein. The group began recording in December 1996, with Azevedo and Sornstein initially working on the project before Brice joined to write music for their first release. In 1998, Ivoux released their debut studio album Frozen: A Suite of Winter Songs through COP International, and featured nine compositions inspired by various winter myths and fairy tales. Notable tracks include "Holle" and "Sif", which were featured on COP Intl.'s various artists compilations. A second album titled Lost was planned but never materialized as Ivoux disbanded in 1999 before its completion.
