Momo Kodama is a Japanese pianist who grew up and studied in European countries including France and Germany where in 1991 she became the youngest ever winner of the Munich Competition at the age of 19. She has played with many of the great orchestras including the Bayerisches Staatsorchester, Berlin Philharmonic, Boston Symphony, NDR Hamburg, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, Orchestre Philharmonique de Monte-Carlo and Orchestre de Chambre de Paris.
She has performed at major festivals and at top venues and she debuted at the Musikverein in Vienna in 2016. Noted for a repertoire that features classical, romantic and contemporary works, she has promoted composers such as Toshio Hosokawa, Ichiro Nodaïra, Toru Takemitsu and Jörg Widmann.
