Rayssa Amaliadynta, known professionally as Rayssa Dynta, was born on February 8, 1995, in Jakarta, Indonesia. She is a singer-songwriter and actress who began playing the piano at a young age and started writing songs during middle school. In 2014, Dynta began her music career by performing as part of a duo and contributing vocals to electronic music tracks. Her debut single, "Something About Us", was released in 2017, followed by her first extended play, Prolog, in January 2018. This EP earned her four nominations at the Anugerah Musik Indonesia 2018, including Best New Artist and Album of the Year. In 2020, she made her acting debut in Gossip Girl Indonesia as Jenny Hakim and released the extended play Allegory: Act I, featuring the lead single "Cards". The following year, she released Allegory: Act II.
