Domingo Hindoyan, born Domingo Garcia Hindoyan on February 15, 1980, in Caracas, Venezuela, is a conductor and violinist. He began his musical education as a violinist within the Venezuelan music education program El Sistema and earned a master's degree in orchestral conducting from the Haute École de Musique de Genève. Hindoyan's career includes collaborations with notable orchestras such as the London Philharmonic Orchestra and the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, where he became principal conductor in 2021. He has directed operas at prestigious venues including the Metropolitan Opera in New York and has been nominated as director musical of the Opéra de Los Angeles from the 2026-2027 season until 2030-2031. His discography includes albums such as Verismo (2023), Tchaikovsky: Souvenir de Florence & Symphony No. 6 ‘Pathétique’ (2025), and Iberia (2025).
