Chain of Strength was an American hardcore punk band formed in 1988 in Pomona, California. The group released their debut EP True Til Death on Revelation Records in 1989, followed by the EP What Holds Us Apart on their own label, Foundation Records. They toured extensively across the United States and Canada but never embarked on a tour outside North America. In 1991, Chain of Strength disbanded due to conflicting schedules. The band reformed in 2012 for sporadic performances, including appearances at festivals like the Amnesia Rockfest in Montreal and the Fun Fun Fun Fest in Austin.
