He draws on music and instruments from the four corners of the globe to compose a soaring, unclassifiable body of work. Somewhere between jazz and world music, Stephan Micus has released a wide-ranging discography for ECM, published to the rhythm of his travels and paying tribute to nature, such as The Music Of Stones (1989) and Bold As Light (2011).
