Wanda is a rock band from Austria that was founded in 2012. Wanda made their breakthrough in the German-speaking world with their debut album Amore in 2014. In Austria, the longplayer reached number 2 and went triple platinum. The album single "Bologna" becomes the band's first hit. The next Wanda album, Bussi, follows in 2015. The band made it to number 1 in the Austrian charts and also achieved considerable chart success in Germany (number 5) and Switzerland (number 8). Wanda scores another hit with the song "Bussi Baby". The Austrian rockers continued their success story in 2017 with their third album Niente. Another number 1 success in Austria, and in Germany (number 5) and Switzerland (number 6), the album once again reached the top 10. Wanda also made it to the top of the Austrian singles charts for the first time with the song "Columbo". this was followed in 2019 by Ciao! This longplayer also becomes a number 1 hit in Austria, but falls short of the overall success of the first three albums. Wanda subsequently released the songs "Jurassic Park" (2020) and "Die Sterne Von Alterlaa" (2021). Another single, "Rocking In Wien", follows in 2022. The album Wanda is released in the same year. The album climbs to number 2 in Austria and number 3 in Germany. A few days earlier, keyboardist Christian Hummer passed away. The single "Bei niemand anders", released in 2023, is dedicated to him (number 41 in Austria). At the beginning of 2024, the singles "Therapie", "Jeder kann es sein" and "Wachgeküsst" announce Wanda's sixth studio album. Ende nie is released in June 2024. The longplayer climbs to the top of the Austrian charts and reaches number 5 in Germany. In Switzerland it reaches number 17.
